Interests: Pick on little tower girls. Smell the roses. Pretend to read books. Start projects, don't finish them. Directing plays. Choreographing dances. Painting pictures. Making messes.
Expertise: I am really good at burning scones and making pizza dough. I rock at telling people what to do and making 16 year olds clean their rooms and go to bed. Actually, I stink at it, I let them pretty much do whatever they want!

Hola! So... it is October. Just FYI. And I finally got a job. Actually I have had one for the last 3 weeks, but this last week was the first time I actually worked without someone holding my hand! And where are you working? you might ask... At Starbucks of course! hehehe Sadly it is something I have always thought would be fun to do in my lifetime and even as it is I am one of the oldest people working there, so I got in just in time! So if you need a decaf double tall two pump almond non fat milk, whole milk foam extra hot four Splenda latte- I could hook you up! hehehehe It is crazy how specific people get! And I am dancing with the Imago Dei dance group. Super fun! We haven't had any performances yet, but we practice every Sunday, so that is super fun. And I love Imago! It is so great! Donald Miller even spoke one Sunday with this other guy- very cool. I wish all of you could come and visit. You would love this church! That pastor is great and the people are great. So... good times. Okay. I need to help my mom rearrange the furniture. We had a baby shower with over 40 people in my parents' house last night, plus a kazillion children under 3 years old. It was for my friend Rachel. She wanted a non traditional shower, so we invited the husbands,  and served steak and beer! It was very fun. Okay. Seriously I gotta go. My mom is going to blow a gasket if I don't get off this computer. Love you!

So after reading everyone's xanga recently I just wanted to say that I feel so blessed. I feel so blessed to have been a part of BFA. To know such amazing and wonderful people because of it. And if you are reading this- that means you! I am so glad that you will always be a part of my life now, you are a part of my story. I know that sounds self-centered and it is, but I feel selfish because I got to know such beautiful people and not everyone else gets to! So thank you Witties for being always a part of my heart, even when we are worlds apart. (Hey! That rhymes!)  Thank you for letting me love you and know that I still do, even when you can't see me. (And if you think I am talking to the girl sitting next to you reading this, you're wrong. I'm talking about you.)  So know that when the craziness of a new year, new school, new friends, new gratises gets to be too much, at the end of the day you are treasured and loved dearly no matter what.

Loobee loos and lululululuu....

So... I just got back from being in CA for a week. I went down to see my brother and sister-in-law in Santa Cruz. It was soo much fun. My brother is an amazing chef, so we ate the bestest food ever EVERY night! Even leftovers were out of this world! And we went kayaking which was way cool. We went in a slough (where the ocean and a river meet). So we saw lots of seals and pelicans and were so close to sea otters. Sea otters are my favorite! They are soooo cute! THEN I drove down to Santa Margharita ah ah ah! And got to see my sweetie beetie Kristi's town. It was such a blast. We drove around San Lois Obisbo and I saw Michelle and Amanda again and walked along beaches and layed on beaches and ate yummy food and went to goat and pig races at the California Mid-State Fair. SO fun. And on my way back to Santa Cruz I stopped and saw all of these amazing HUGE elephant seals. They were very cool. But that was then and this is now. Now I have to find a job. So all you people out there that know and love me- what do you think I should do with my life? I keep jumping ideas around like a kangaroo on a pimped out pogo stick! hehehe

Okay. done. I love getting your updates so I thought I would return the favor!

So I finally made it back to Portland. Phew! What a trip. The month of June my itinerary went a little something like this- Wittlingen, Istanbul, Kandern, Chambery, Antibe, Monte Carlo, Nice, Antibe, Cannes, Marseille, Salon de Provence, St. Remy, Avignon, Chambery, Kandern, London, Toronto, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Portland. Uh... yeah.

Needless to say I am a bit wiped! But ya know... I had to get in the last of the i-just-gotta-sees while I was over there! So glad I did it! The first third was with Shelly and Brea. (And the Breslins and Schindledeckers and Lees!) The second third was with Shelly and Allie (And the Mellons and Sudecks!) And the third third (hehe) was with just Allison and of course lots of her peps along the way! So fun! Oh and I did get to see Sarah and Cory in Chicago, but ahh! I didn't get a picture with them! I was so bummed when I realized that! The laughs were countless and the time was wonderful with them!

So since I have been home I got together with some of my friends the first day. (So weird! They all either have babies or are pregnant! Don't worry girls, they are all married...) Then the next day I went to Lincoln City with my parents for a few days to my dad's cousin's house. (Lincoln City is at the Oregon beach for all you non Northwesterners.)

And now I am just laying around my parents house worrying about jobs and a place to live and friends and a car and a phone (my parents only have cell phones, so there is no phone at their house!), but mostly I am just thinking that I should probably turn up the tunes and just unpack some more. I am so grateful that God has my future all worked out! I would be a mess if it wasn't for that amazing assurance and his awesome track record! (I mean hey! He led me to get to hang out with the awesomest young women on the planet!) So there's my update. Love you all and miss you all! Have a wicked awesome summer! (There's a bit of the american slang for ya that the teenyboppers are using these days...)

Hi. Oh yeah. I have a xanga site. Sometimes I forget that. So guess what? I am leaving for California in about 30 hours. I am so excited to see my brother and my almost new sister. And of course the thing I am most excited about is the 15 hours of travelling! Woohooo! Yippy skippy dippy doo. So yeah. I started packing my room. So sad. I don't want to leave Witty. It has been wonderful! Wait. I am not gone yet. It IS wonderful! Tonight I cleaned the attic for over 3 hours. It is really gross up there, but now it is sparkly and clean, well... not really, but there is no more junk up there! Yay! That is a HUGE success! Oh. And I also cleaned my bathroom for over an hour today. I even used a knife to scrap off all the scum and junk around the ridges of stuff. (You are welcome Kristi- I am making it extra pretty for you next year!) One more bit of news, my allergies are going psycho. Not super psycho, but they are on the brink and I really don't want them to go over. And allergies are really sad because it means that once again I have to stay inside while all of my friends go out and play. So there you have it. The lovely ramblings of yet another xanga site. Peace.

And some faces just for fun.
